Laura is an artist, performer and creative producer working between Somerset and London. She has over 15 years experience working across the contemporary arts, dance, theatre and film sector.  Alongside her practice she is dedicated to supporting artists and artists communities through devising work and developing ideas from conception to realisation. Her key skills include movement direction, dramaturgy, artist development strategy, rehearsal direction, networking creative teams and building new audiences.  

Current research interest themes draw from popular culture, gender politics, the role of the mother, self-help culture, gastronomy and consumerism.  

She has performed and produced projects for The Vaults BFI Alterative Film Festival (2021), EartH Hackney (2020), Tate Modern (2019), KW Institute for Contemporary Art (2017), Martin Gropius Bau (2016), Tate Britain (2015), Royal Academy of Arts (2014), National Theatre Belgrade (2014), Laban (2012/13), CPT (2013), Steinway Hall (2013), Tate Modern (2012), The Old Vic Tunnels (2012), National Theatre London (2011), Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery (2011) and Shunt (2008).

Laura has worked in collaboration with other artists such as Joan Jonas, Lundahl & Seitl, Emma Howes, Dafna Maimon, Pilvi Takala & Lauren Barri Holstein. 

Laura has also produced and curated performance and live art events. In June 2011 she founded SMASH LAB, a night-time laboratory set outside of gallery walls encouraging artists and audiences to experiment with and explore performance and live art.
